We have tried and tried to teach Peyton good manners and we started at an early age. It is nice to hear her say "please" and "thank you", especially without any prompting. Andrew started working on "yes m'aam/sir" and "no m'aam/sir" a few months ago, but no luck on getting her to say it without prompting yet.
However, when we all slept in the same room a few weeks ago at Disney, she must've been dreaming, but in this dream she shouted out angrily " No THANK you!" It was funny, even at 2 a.m.
Andrew also told me last night he was helping her on as she peed on the potty and as soon as she sat on the toilet, she passed gas three times - however, little Miss Manners said "excuse me" each time. She even tells Daddy that he "didn't say excuse me" when he does something out loud! Funny!
